This is another pedestrian bridge over the Moscow river. Rostov embankment is to the left, Kiev railroad station to the right and the skyscraper of Moscow State University on Sparrow Hills is seen behind the bridge.

A Glimpse Of Arbat Street

Arbat Street is a 500 years old street about one kilometer long in the historical centre of Moscow. It was considered to be the most prestigious street to reside in Moscow in XVIII century.
The street was reconstructed in the beginning of 1980th and reopened as a first pedestrian street of the USSR in 1986.
Arbat is the favorite place for street artists, souvenirs and paintings vendors. It is full of shops, coffee houses, restaraunts, bars, as well as people, especially tourists and youngsters. The street is also a traditional place for conducting flashmobs of every imaginable kind. The famouse are Free Hugs and Dreamflash flashmobs.

Here you see the bypass canal of Moscow-river. You can see some office buildings converted from former industrial shops to the right. To the fore you tsee a white boxy building - that is the new building of Tretyakov Arts Gallery. Art of the 20th century is exhibited there.
You see a block of social clubs, exhibitions, recreational centers to the left. All of them were created in place of former industrial activity. The monument to the Peter the Great (as a founder of Russian NAVY) is in the background.

Alexander Garden Of Moscow Kremlin In Wintertime

So here you see Alexander garden of Moscow Kremlin. To the left you see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the alley of hero-cities (each granite block is devoted to a specific hero-city and contains a capsule filled with the soil of that city), then comes Middle Arsenal tower of the Kremlin wall and Troitskaya (Trinity) tower topped with a ruby star. The large yellow building is known as Arsenal building of Moscow Kremlin.

Gone With The Wedding

The lettering on balloons says as follows: Harmony and Love!
This is a traditional well-wishing phrase they say to newlyweds.
Actually this bunch of balloons was used in some wedding ceremony and they let it go.
Let it be Harmony and Love for every couple!
