Moscow City Hall

The view of the Moscow City-Hall. It is the former Governor's palace built along the main street of Moscow - Tverskaya street - and just opposite Tverskaya square. Now it is the City Hall, about 500 meters (1500 feet) from the Kremlin.
The monument to Prince Yuri Dolgoruky (Long-Armed) - the founder of Moscow - is placed in the middle of Tverskaya square, which dates to 1792 and named for the street.

Tverskaya Street

Main street of Moscow City - Tverskaya street - just across Moscow City Hall. Here is the view to the very center of Moscow - to the Kremlin. Afar you can see the Corner Arsenal tower of the Kremlin. The Kremlin and City Hall are placed on top of two different hills.
